With the Bashtarlle phenomenon weighing heavily on their minds - Big Fire and the Magnificent Ten attempt to follow through with their initial scheme, "Operation Earth Stand Still." Using their newest weapon, the big balloon - a device that absorbs energy, causing it to explode, Big Fire hope to annihilate the Earth. Giant Robo and comrades, Daisaku and Gynrei, team up once again to protect the sample and to stop the detonation of the big balloon. The drama heightens as Daisaku fights to not only to rescue Gynrei, but to save the world as well.
